Diane was born in Clarksdale Mississippi. At the age of three, her family moved to Chicago. Diane grew up on the south side of Chicago with her twin sister and two brothers. She attended Chicago Public Schools and received her bachelor's degree in probation justice and psychology.
She worked as a probation officer in the social work field and retired in 2018. Now she takes her love for children and the wisdom of god to create the best children's books.
A word to the community I appreciate you all for the love and support. You guys should expect relationships with family, friends, nature, and spiritual enlightenment from my books. My mission as an author, believe you should write whatever your heart leads you to write. Books shouldnt have color, they should have character that represents circumstances, situations and environment.
Prayers went up and the blessings came down. I have always been around kids so I felt it was only right to write children's books. I enjoy writing and believe it is a gift from god. I took all of my positive energy to create books that families can not live without.
The first book was published in 2019. The death of my firstborn son inspired me to write. I had prayed to God to use me as a vessel, leaving a legacy that will make someone enjoy life as it unfolds.
Diane likes for people to know when God made her he made her like no other, not even her twin. There is no one like her.
Come join Diane through her new discoveries in the Next Chapter series as she creates diverse books for a diverse world.
